We have a jamming group that averages about 15-20 jammers. We come with all abilities.
We are sponsored by the Minnesota, Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association.
We are an open jam, we circle up, pass or play, I like to keep like instruments together if possible.
We play all kinds of music, and we consider ourselves bluegrassers. We do believe that adding a banjo , mandolin, no drums equal bluegrass no matter what you tune. We love the old time. We play it through many times so folks no how to play it when we are done. We do have two mics so the faint of voice can be heard above all those instruments. Small amp, oh and our bass player is electric, he's good and he now has a smaller amp so he is not so loud. The jam has been going now for almost ten years. Our www site is bjammers.net come visit us if your up in the North Country. We have four big festivals during the year. June, August, November, and Our Winter Festival in March. go to MBOTMA for all the Minnesota information on Bluegrass
